Custom Solar Window Screens for homes in Georgetown
Good news, Georgetown.
We are proud to offer measurement, delivery, and installation of our premier custom-made solar screens to your area of Austin (Georgetown) at no additional cost.
We can install our custom solar window screens on every window of your home to maximize its energy efficiency while protecting you from the sun’s heat and harmful rays.
Here are some installation examples of our custom arched solar window screens in Georgetown.
Starting from the left, there is a rectangular window that measures 35 inches by 70 inches and opens vertically. Above this rectangular window, there is a quarter-circle shape that complements its design. On the right, there is a square window measuring 35 by 35 inches. Above the window, there is a quarter circle. Next to these features, you’ll find tall arches that are 83 inches in height and 25 inches in width. To the right of that picture, there is a grouping of three windows. This includes two very tall half arches that are 96 inches high and 25 inches wide, along with a tall rectangular window measuring 35 inches by 96 inches. The custom solar screens are fitted around the two half-arch windows flawslessy. Our arched screens are expertly designed to align with the curved shapes of the arches.
Our solar screens are designed to replace your existing bug screens and enhance the aesthetic of your home's paint scheme. They are easy to clean, require minimal maintenance, and provide a clear view of the outdoors without exposing you to the intense heat of the Georgetown sun.
The following picture shows me standing outside next to some 90% solar window screens. The top pane of glass, at the top of my ladder, does not have a solar screen on it. If you look towards the bottom of the picture, you'll see the shade on the floor, which illustrates what 90% shade looks like compared to 0% shade. To the left, the rectangular area on the tile floor represents 0% shade, while the rectangular area to the right represents 90% shade. This is a clear illustration of the benefits of a 90% custom solar screen.
I have posted many pictures of solar screens on this website for you to view under the gallery page.
This is a great illustration demonstrating that 90% solar screen fabric does not turn the inside of your home into a cave. Without seeing an example like this, it’s easy to assume that it will block 90% of your view and light. While the fabric does provide 90% shade coverage, which means 90% of its surface area is covered, the remaining open area accounts for 10%. It's impressive how clearly you can see through the fabric despite this shading.
The Austin Shade Team is your solution for solar shades..
It's quite remarkable how difficult it is to completely block out light. Even when you cover 90% of the surface area with fabric, a surprising amount of light still manages to come through. This light filters through the small openings in the solar screen fabric.
The next picture displays what the 80% solar screen fabric looks like. In this image, the windows on the right and in the middle both have our 80% solar screens installed, while the window on the left does not have a screen. You can see my helper Mike standing on the ladder quite clearly. We're being cautious; he is positioned at the top of a ladder that has a stabilizing arm, ensuring safety. This setup helped create a great picture!
This picture is absolutely amazing, as it clearly demonstrates the visibility through the 80% solar screen fabric. Many people worry that our 80% solar screens will limit their view. While the screens do darken the surroundings slightly—after all, that's their purpose—they still allow for excellent visibility. I often explain to people that you can see through them just as well, or perhaps a little less, as you can with your current bug screens. The key is in the fabric's weave; it features larger threads and openings, which enhances your outward visibility.
Sound too good to be true?
It isn’t.
